introduce windows server 2008 ( Application Service )

Windows Server 2008 includes support service that enable administrators to deploy Application in several different ways.

Two basic types of Computer can be on an enterprise network: clients And Servers. in computer , networking a server is , by definition , a system that responds to requests for resources Originating from clients on the same network. The resources provided by a server can take many forms,including information ,document files web pages, and security service
windows server 2008 Designing an enterprise network is a complex undertaking that must consider many factor ,not all of them technical .Certainly ,Technical elements such as hardware platforms and operating system are important But the designer of a large network also have to consider other elements, including management ,political and economic factor :)

one of the Primary considerations in the enterprise network design process is what the users of the network need to do with their computers.After all companies supply their employees with computers so that they can get work done, and to accomplish this goal , the users need computer programs designed to aid them in the performance of specific tasks.These program also known as windows server 2008 APPLICATION

Architecturally ,Application in the Enterprise can take server forms, but all of these form typically involve a server in some way , as follow    

• Client-Run Application - Some Application run wholly on client computer, such as office productivity app. however in an enterprise environment, they typically use service provided by network service ,such as file and print servers

• Client / Server Application - Sometime an application runs on a Single server ,to Which client all over the network Send request for service  EX: A single app sever might run a database application that supplies information to all of the client on the network

• Distributed Application - in some case , an administrator Distributes an Application among multiple servers which provide different functions that work together Ex: Application server hosting a web Site can function as   the intermediary between clients on the front end a database server on the back end, show in image

There for to Design an efficient enterprise network ,IT personal must consider the Application the user will and the server resources those application need to run properly .Typically Administrator refer to the servers that provide these resources ,not  surprisingly , as Application  server Conduction an inventory of the users needs enables the network designers to address Basic design question such as the following 

• How Many Application Servers do i need ?
• What hardware should the Application servers Contain ?
• Where should the Application servers bed located ?
